This Web site (the "Web site") is owned and operated by Group Voyagers, Inc. based in Littleton, Colorado, which is a privately held company that markets and sells the Globus family of brands within the United States. These brands include Globus, Cosmos, Monograms and Avalon Waterways. The protection of your privacy is of great importance to us. Our Privacy Statement describes our commitment to protecting your privacy. Collecting Personal Information.
We gather information from members, guides and visitors primarily through the following ways:
- voluntary member and guide registration
- member/guide submitted content
- cookie technology
- IP addresses
Voluntary Member Registration
When you register as a member, we collect your basic demographic information, your travel interests and your travel preferences. From this information we create a profile that helps us identify the type of Globus family of brands experience that is most relevant to you. With this information, we can customize our services and your experience to suit your needs and preferences. At the initial member registration screen we ask for a member name, password, e-mail address, your favorite travel topics and your key travel preferences. Occasionally, we may also collect additional personal information if you choose to enter a contest or complete a survey form. Once you are a member, we will use the information we receive from you to determine what travel information is most appropriate for you and what member information you may find most relevant. Once you are a member, we will use the information we receive from you to determine which of our members would most likely read your submissions.
Member-Submitted Content
Some personal information like member name, hometown, country and other information you choose to submit will become public when you disclose it to us on the Web site. This may include, but is not limited to:
- when you submit travel journals
- when you participate in contests and member surveys.
Cookie Technology
We use "cookies" to track and store your preferences in order to personalize our site for you. We gather information from members and guides in order to provide them with personalized experiences. Every time you visit our Web site, we provide you with what we believe will be your preferred topics, the guide content that will be most relevant for you, and services that will be of the most interest to you.
Optional E-mail Messages
When you register with our Web site and indicate you would like to receive e-mails related to your favorite travel topics, occasionally we may send you e-mail messages with information and special travel deals related to our services, or third-party products that you may find interesting. If you elect to receive such e-mails when you register, you may update your profile at any time afterwards to discontinue such mailings. You can update your member profile and/or opt out of receiving e-mails in your the Globus family of brands.

Your disclosure of personal information in a travel submission or any other publicly-accessible place on our Web site is done so at your own risk.
